The basic rules are simple and require you to be honest!: Enter the contest by sending an email to the organizers. Complete the designated amount of push-ups and sit-ups six days a week. You may take off one day of your choice each week. The week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday, and a day starts and ends at midnight, so when the clock strikes 12, and you are not done yet, you are out of the FC! Also, complete the designated amount of Cardio Sessions per week. A Cardio Session is defined here. If you miss two days in a week, or do not complete the designated amount of Cardio Sessions in a week, you must mercifully accept the fact that you are out of the competition. No excuses, no exceptions. Remember, the success of the Fitness Challenge hinges on the honesty of its participants. If you drop out, don't worry--we'll start subsequent Fitness Challenges as time goes on. The winner gets 15% of the pot to spend as he or she sees fit--a victory dinner with a few less tenacious friends, perhaps, or a new outfit to highlight that buff physique. The rest of the pot will go to the organizer and winner's favorite charity. (Charity History) We will increase the required exercises every month. The process will be as democratic as possible, but we reserve the right to "up" the designated tallies even if some are not as enthusiastic as others about the upgrade. Alternatives to Pushups and Situps: You may substitute the exercises required with similar exercises if the ration makes sense, and if the exercises are similar enough.
