Fitness Challenge 2 was a larger and longer affair than the first one. 37 participants battled it out through the early months, and people were dropping out at a far less aggressive pace than in FC 1. In fact, some overachievers started demanding upgrades, but were shunned by the competition's moderator, who declared that there would be no upgrade until it was 15 degrees Celcius and sunny in Amsterdam. As soon as that day came, the upgrade was established, and participants started dropping like flies. In the end, two women were left standing, and when one got pregnant, the other stopped her exercises on the same day so that they could share the glory.
